Get a Schengen Visa
- Schengen Visa covers 28 states in Europe and offers many advantages and privileges.
- With a Schengen Visa, you can travel to the Regions with a maximum stay period of three months in a half year period.
- Travelers from North / South America, Australia and some island nations do not required Schengen Visa.
- Travelers from Africa, Asia and some Eastern countries require a Schengen visa for entry to the region.

On Traveling
- Plane is the fastest way to get to Europe and planning ahead will give you an edge on the cost of your transatlantic ticket.
- Rail passes and ferries are often linked into rail timetable.
- Information office at arrival areas can provide free maps, guide to current local festivals and advice on hotel accommodations and restaurants.
- Cruise ships are available with floating hotels that includes several restaurant, swimming pools and spas.
- Rental car is best for you when you want to travel at your own pace in major European Cities.
- You will need an International Diving Permit or American Automobile Association when driving.
- Buses are very popular way to travel that is cost efficient and as means to reach smaller towns.
- Bicycles are for free or for rent in Copenhagen, with deposits refunded upon return of the bike.
- Railway stations are nice for traveling long distances on land.

Hotels and reservations
- For convenience, choose hotel locations that are near the area where most of your activities will take place.
- Before booking, check if they have airport transportations, parking, restaurants, fitness center, pools that would suite your needs.
- Take preference on hotels that offer low cost payments on room amenities such as high-speed internet access and kitchenettes with microwaves and refrigerator , news paper, cable TV , multi-line phones to ease your stay.

Weather and clothing
- Check the weather on the internet to know the average temperatures of places to travel.
- Belgium, Britain has more showers throughout the year so bring clothes that you can layer, an umbrella and all weather coat.
- Holland, Italy, Spain in spring and fall: Bring comfortable shoes, clothes you can layer, weather coats and a sweater.
- Tie, jacket, cocktail dresses are required in finer restaurants and some religious sites do not allow shorts or sleeveless shirts.

Shopping
- Britain, Paris and France’s store open 9 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. Monday to Saturday and with larger store open till Sunday were you can find lace, quaint shop, handmade glassware, craft and antiques.
- Belgium has beautiful ceramics, hand-beaten copperware, crystal, diamonds and chocolates too.
- Holland has a specialty that includes Delft blue pottery, costume dolls, silverware, glass, crystal and diamonds.
- Italy’s shops are generally open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3:30 to 7:30 but some shops have shorter lunch break and close earlier.
- Portugal and Switzerland has excellent leather goods, copper, handcrafted silver and gold, embroidery and tapestry, woodcarving, cork products, porcelain and china, crystal and glassware.
- Spain is famous for fine leather goods and porcelain. Stores open in the morning and close at noon for siesta.
