Multiple choice tests
- Many tests are written in such a way that answers to other questions will come to your mind as you read all the other questions and answers.
- When questions include none of the above, or all of the above in the answer, this is usually the correct answer.
- In most situations, the longest possible answer is likely to be the correct answer.
- Statistically speaking, B is generally the most common answer on standard multiple choice test questions.
- For True-False portions, A is the more common solution.
- For test portions with five options, C is the most common.
If you are running out of time, or know no further answers, marking them all B may give you the best chance of guessing correctly.
