Once you have done something, for example painting your patio, or potty training your kid, or building a home theater system. Once done you may have a set of Tips on the subject. Wouldn't it be nice to note them down somewhere for future reference to you & friends? You can add them at Tip Sense. Since this WIKI is open to all, others can contribute too. With everybody's collaboration we grow good Tips on various subjects at Tip Sense.

Background: Inspired by Wikipedia, this project started during late March of 2008. In today's world when there are more channel than ever before for information to flow from. It is often a challenge to pick useful essence out from a source of online or offline knowledge, particularly when time is in crunch. One has to skim through long articles, numerous pages of documents, several links before they could really get useful points out.
Who can contribute: Visitors do not need specialized qualifications to contribute, since their primary role is to write Tip Article that cover existing knowledge; this means that people of all ages and cultural and social backgrounds can write Tip Sense articles.
Most of the Tip Articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the edit this page link. Anyone is welcome to add information, as long as they do so within Tip Sense's editing policies and to an appropriate standard.
Substandard or disputed information is subject to removal. Users need not worry about accidentally damaging Tip Sense when adding or improving information, as other editors are always around to advise or correct obvious errors, and Tip Sense's software is carefully designed to allow easy reversal of editorial mistakes.
You should never preclude: that your Tips may not be as useful. More often than not, we are surprised to see that what otherwise deemed as a trivial information in somebody's opinion turn out to be a huge help for others who are not well-versed with the subject.
