Base
- Always apply your base or foundation to clean, moisturized skin. Remove all traces of make-up by using make-up remover or, better yet, wash your face thoroughly before putting on your base.
- Cover lines, wrinkles, spots and other blemishes with a good, creamy concealer.
- Apply concealer in a dabbing motion with your ring finger and build up the pigments in layers, for a natural finish.

Cheeks
- Smile - so you can catch the apples of your cheek.
- Start with a light dusting and build up the color. If you make a mistake, you can always tone it down with a dab of foundation.
- Choose a blusher that will do over time for you. Some contain vitamins or anti-ageing ingredients.

Eye Shadow
- Start-off with a neutral base color over the whole lid.
- Add a little stronger color to the middle of the eyelid.
- Using a darker color, shade a banana shape round the lighter area, following the socket line.
- Blend carefully, dusting away any pigment that falls beneath the eye.
- For a more glamorous eye, use a flat brush to highlight the outer corner, keeping close to the lashline. Use your darkest eye shadow, or a cake liner.

Lip Liner
- Lip liner can give you a perfectly-shaped mouth, plump up your lips and make them look more sensual. Always start at the outer corners and steady your hand against your face.
- For a natural look, choose a shade which almost matches your lips. Keeping the pencil soft, follow the line of your lips.

Lipstick
- Apply lipstick with a brush for a longer-lasting finish and a fuller mouth.
- Highlight the middle of each lip for a sexy look. Follow your natural lip line to highlight your mouth.

Mascara
- All perfect eyelashes start with an eyelash curler. Hold on for a few seconds, for instant curled, lengthened lashes.
- Apply mascara to freshly-curled lashes. Don’t ‘pump’ the mascara in the tube as it will dry it out, instead, apply in feathery strokes to make sure all lashes are coated.
- Try holding a mirror under your chin and looking downwards into it, so you can see what you’re doing.
- Add an extra coat at the outer corners for doe eyes.
- Gently pulling your eyelid out at the corner will make it easier to apply.
- Use the end of the brush to get all the little lashes in the corners.
- If you make a mistake, gently roll a cotton bud over the blob to remove it.

Highlighter
- There’s nothing like a stroke of subtle shimmer, to capture the light and brighten your skin.
- Dab a highlighter on the cheekbones and a little at the temples.
- … DONE!...
